How to write a book?

A pinch of faith, a handful of attitude, a piece of desire and a daily discipline.
Writing one sentence at a time or 400 words daily. That was my limit. For about 2 months I’ve been writing about 400 words for my ebook, every working day. Occasionally I wrote something during a weekend. It all summed up to 8600 words. 30 pages of content. I know it’s short, but the topic is narrow. And I’m not a native speaker. My editor has found over 200 errors and grammar mistakes. Most of them were missing articles, we haven’t them in Polish.
A Personal Mission Statement: Your Road Map to Happiness is ready. I’m waiting for final review and cover. Now I have to take care of other things – choose Amazon categories with the biggest potential, plan the marketing campaign, create an author’s page, book description, convert an ebook to epub format…
I hope at 1st of June my book will be available in Kindle store.
Was it easy to do? Yes, I think so. But as usual, much easier would be not to do it. The list of excuses was ready and long: I’m no authority, my English is clumsy, I have no time… And so on, and so on.
I didn’t listen to them. I committed to action.
“Hard work always yields its profit, idle talk brings only want.” Prov. 14:23;
BTW, this sentence is in my personal mission statement.
