We’re taking The Slight Edge mainstream!

When I first came out with The Slight Edge in 2005, I had no idea how popular it would become. The Slight Edge has grown organically into its popularity because of you. You’re the ones who spread the word, have the conversations, and find success through your slight edge habits. It’s your stories, which show how the slight edge can (and does) impact lives. This is why it’s so important to me to take the slight edge concept mainstream. Think of how many people we can impact!

The new 8th anniversary edition is better than ever. I have added two new chapters focused on happy habits, as well as the ripple effect your life creates in addition to revamping all the chapters with new content, stories from readers, and much more. This is also the first hardback edition of the Slight Edge.

It turns out that distribution in the mainstream system is pretty crazy, and a big factor in success is how the book does in its first week of distribution. During launch week – November 4-10 – our goal is to make the New York Times bestseller list. If you’re considering purchasing this new edition of The Slight Edge, I would really appreciate it if you’d help us achieve this by purchasing a copy online this week through Amazon or Barnes and Noble.com. When you purchase your copy, think of the people you know: who else could benefit from the slight edge in their lives? What a great holiday gift for anyone on your list!

It’s not just about selling a lot of books, but the more books that are sold, the more good we can do together. 50% of the net proceeds of each copy of The Slight Edge will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters, whose mission focuses on helping children facing adversity achieve success. Also for each copy of The Slight Edge that’s purchased, a copy of SUCCESS for Teens will be donated to the organization.

The Slight Edge grew organically from great conversations and observations, so I invite you to have a conversation with me. Join me on Twitter for the Slight Edge Launch Lunch at 1:00 Central on Monday, November 4. We’ll talk about the book and how to apply the slight edge to all aspects of your life. You can follow me on Twitter at @jeffolson_, and follow the book at @yourslightedge. I’m looking forward to chatting with you on Monday!

Thank you greatly for your continued support to make the Slight Edge what it is today and I am looking forward to what we can do this week to bring the Slight Edge philosophy into the light it deserves.

Continued Blessings,

Jeff Olson
